Sidney Alvis Pickett

Sidney Alvis Pickett, 84, of Rossville passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was born on February 15, 1938 on Signal Mountain, Tennessee to the late Lawrence and Christine Pickett. He was an incredible master machinist and a jack of all trades. Sidney enjoyed golfing, gardening, going grocery shopping and loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.
 
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Pickett; son, Mark Pickett; brother, Bill Pickett and grandson, Jeremy Pritchett.
 
Survivors include his sons, Gerald Pritchett, Bobby Pickett and Sandy Pickett; daughter, Joy Pickett; sister, Betty Hendricks; grandchildren, Teresa Lowe, Nicholas Pickett, Tiffany Murray-Pickett, Andrew Pickett, Sydney Pickett, Nicole Pritchett, Kenneth Pickett and McKenna Pickett; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Barker and Eloise Joy Pickett; nieces, Sharon Meeks, Sheila Scott, Kim Rogers, Bettye Jane Pickett, Ruth Pickett and Pam Pickett.
 
Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
