Shonda Rae Elleman

Shonda Rae Elleman, 62, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 23, 2022. She was born March 30, 1960 to the late Garland “Jabo” Brandon and Charlotte Bennett. Shonda was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. She was a 1978 graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield after 42 ½ years of service. Shonda enjoyed the beach, traveling, camping, and shopping. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by uncles Lebron Brandon and Nathan Brandon.

Survivors include her loving husband of 27 years, Eric Elleman, sons Brian (Stacey) Smith and Josh (Beth) Elleman, daughters Brandi (Trent) Layne, Brooke (Donnie) Vaughn, and Erica (Brad) Culbreth, sister Jennie East, and grandchildren Madison, Brayden, Ansley, Shaelyn, Ayla, Ollie, Brylee, Paisley, Ivy, Annabelle, Eleanor, Joseph, Holden, Malayna, Makayla, and Emmalyn. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday in the funeral home chapel with Steve Brandon officiating.
