Matthew T. Vowell

Matthew Taylor Vowell, 22, of Ringgold passed away Friday, September 16th, 2022. Matthew was born December 19, 1999 in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia Area and graduated from Heritage High School Class of 2018. He participated in Beta Club, marching band and cross country. He was pursuing his degree in Computer Science at Kennesaw State. Matthew enjoyed working with technology, swimming, listening to and playing music. More than anything he loved spending time around family and friends. He will be missed dearly by many.

He was preceded in death by aunt Mary Elizabeth Vowell. 

Survivors include his parents, Teresa and David Duzan; grandparents, Jodi Vowell and Stan (Nina) Vowell, John (Marie) Duzan; brothers, Jacob, Luke, Coltyn and Jackson Duzan; aunts, Carol (Kelly) Duzan and Rebecca Vowell; uncles, Peter (Jessica) Duzan and Brandon Vowell; several cousins also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held 4:30 PM, Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
